The highest rate of morphological disturbances was
26 percent, in a northeasterly direction. The deformities
among the leaf bugs were terrible. In my work I wish to
show not only the types and number of deformities, but
also to evoke the severity of the changes in the insects’ bodies.
I can document the serious nature of the morphological
changes with my paintings, and the elaborate geographical
maps I create show the locations in which certain deformities
were most prevalent. |
