bugs and deformed plants, which I collected and painted.
In Rancate I collected three pairs of Drosophila melanogaster
flies, which I bred in my kitchen up to the fourth generation.
With the binocular microscope I studied and protocolled
them. I found the greatest number of deformities on their
abdomens, wings, eyes and faces. [

Chernobyl In 1990 I traveled with the anti-nuclear group Strom ohne Atom (Electricity without
atomic power) to the Ukraine. The misery of the people there made a great impression
upon me. At the port to the south of the 30-kilometer exclusion zone, I collected
firebugs, Pyrrhocoris apterus. In Pripjat, the city most hit by the fallout and
