Biography

1961-64

Training in scientific drawing at the Zoological Museum of the University of Zurich with Prof. H. Burla. The art teacher was my father Gottfried Honegger. During this time 6 months at the Stazione Zoologica in Naples, Italy, with illustrator Ilona Richter. I earned my laboratory space by illustrating a monograph on Ostracodes. Completion of four fish paintings in collaboration with Prof. Hediger of the Zurich Zoo. Four semesters of comparative anatomy at the Zoological Institute of Prof. E. Hadorn, in addition fauna and dissecting courses.
