Fukushima

Field study in Prefecture Fukushima
2016 I was invited to give the opening speech at the 6.Citizen Scientist International Symposium in Nihonmatsu, Japan. At the same time I was also invited to show my work at the Fukushima Biennale. Both events took place at the same time in Nihonmatsu, Japan.
I was impressed by the works of Japanese artists and how they reacted to the tragic event of the accident at the nuclear power plant Fukushima Daiichi in March 2011 into their works.
I took this chance to conduct a field study in the environs of the nuclear power plant Fukushima Daiichi.
